This little program will update all the revision numbers of your custom UI files when Funcom comes out with a new patch.

Just download, unzip anywhere, find the readme and follow the directions!

** UPDATE **

Due to the new location for the UI folders/files as of the update on 2/18/09 you will get an error message when you try to use this program. Meat is working on a new revision for this.

Yep, but if you are using my UI.. see my post in on that too.

New revision uploaded in first post. Now it works with the new location of the custom UI files!

So I just upgraded to Vista 64-bit last night and I can't get the revision fix to run again lol.

the registry is different ... its easier if you just put the path to the aoc directory ... make the shortcut for the Revision fix to be somethign like ...

"C:\Age of Conan\AoC_FixRevision.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Funcom\Age of Conan\Data\Gui\Customized" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Funcom\Age of Conan\Data\GUI\Default"

Then it should work fine

Hi there, new to the game, and obviously the UI's. It apears I have Dragon UI set up proper, but I am getting the version errors for the UI. So I set up fixrevision with the shortcut.

This is the error I get when I run it.

Error:
1077: FileOpen: OpenFailed

On line: =FileOpen(logfile, "WRITE")

Winbatch 32 2003J
WIL Version: 4.2jdb

Any suggestions?

Sounds like you did not get the path's in the shortcut keyed in correctly. For the shortcut for the exe ....

Target: (LOC = location of folder on hard drive)
"LOC\AoC_RevisionFix\AoC_FixRevision.exe" "LOC\Age of Conan\Data\Gui\Customized" "LOC\Age of Conan\Data\Gui\Default"

So if AoC is installed on your computer to C:\Program Files\FunCom\Age of Conan then

Target: AoC_FixRevision.EXE "C:\Program Files\Funcom\Age Of Conan\Data\Gui\Customized" "C:\Program Files\Funcom\Age of Conan\Data\GUI\Default"


If you are running a 64 bit OS the default would be:

Target: AoC_FixRevision.EXE "C:\Program Files (x86)\Funcom\Age Of Conan\Data\Gui\Customized" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Funcom\Age of Conan\Data\GUI\Default"
